Thomas 'Skip' Kelley
President / Strategic Financial Advisor

Thomas ‘Skip’ Kelley is a holistic Financial Advisor specializing in Retirement Income Planning. Working in a Fiduciary capacity he creates customized strategic financial plans incorporating both market 'risk' instruments and insurance 'safe money' investments to provide both growth and safety to your family's portfolio. Clarity, direction and peace of mind are the ultimate goal.

 

Skip is both an Investment Adviser Representative with SGL Financial, an SEC Registered Investment Adviser and a fully licensed Insurance professional.  His clients include individual clients and small businesses in the Southern, Central and Seacoast areas of New Hampshire.

 

Skip is affiliated with professional networks including real estate and futures trader organizations and a network of Elder Law Attorneys and Certified Public Accountants. Operating as an Independent Adviser Representative, Skip is free to act solely in the best interest of his clients.

 

A native of Lexington Massachusetts, Skip spent most of his youth growing up in Moultonboro, NH on Lake Winnepesaukee. After 28 years raising his family in Bedford, the Kelleys now reside on the banks of the Merrimack River in Manchester. His wife of 33 years, Kathleen Rose, teaches Physical Education at Bedford High School. Skip has been successful in a number of fields as a salesman, business owner, real estate entrepreneur, and investor. He believes the strategy behind investing for a comfortable retirement must be driven by safety, growth and control. He dedicates his time to understanding each individual’s financial needs and objectives, and his ultimate goal is to provide guidance and direction that result in financial peace of mind.

Marielle Papa
Director of Operations

Marielle has been Operations Director for Safe Money Retirement Strategies since early 2015. A native of Plymouth Massachusetts, Marielle spent most of her youth working in her family's iconic Italian restaurant The Inn for All Seasons overlooking historic Plymouth Beach. Following graduation from Northeastern University Marielle pursued her career in Real Estate opening up her own brokerage. In 2008 Marielle took on an aggressive position as a Sales Manager of a large auto dealership on the South Shore which provided her with the stamina and drive to survive in the fast paced innovative marketing field. Marielle is no stranger to the dynamic world of Financial Planning, her father Ron established a successful Advisory where she cut her teeth in the industry.

In 2014 Marielle made the life changing move to Southern NH. Proud mother of her 3 daughters, Antonia, Liana and Nadia keep Marielle's calendar busy with activities. Marielle's favorite place is being on the ocean or at the beach. As a former college athlete she is huge sports fan and also a motorcycle enthusiast.

With Marielle's successful experience in multiple fields as a salesperson, business owner and real estate entrepreneur, she brings both organization and a skilled precision to detail to Safe Money Retirement Strategies. Marielle also brings another rare quality to work each day, a empathetic maternal instinct. She is passionate about her clients and brings "family style" service believing it to be the key to successful long term client relationships. With the nick name "Mumma" she is your go to girl.

Lisa Wright
Director of Account Management

Lisa comes to Safe Money Retirement Strategies with over 20+ years of experience in the Finance and Insurance Industries. Prior to joining our team, Lisa was employed by Stephen Eldridge & Company for 11 years where she was a 401(k) Account Manager. For the last 10 years, Lisa was employed by CGI Business Solutions, Inc. as the Manager for COBRA Administration and Financial Management.

Lisa received a designation from Bentley College in 1996 from the Pension and Employee Benefits Program and has certifications for both COBRA Administration and Cafeteria Plans. She has a New Hampshire Insurance Producers license for Life, Accident & Health.

Lisa believes that high level customer service and personal touch is essential in creating client relationships as well as the development of mutual trust. She is dedicated to going above and beyond and committed to making a difference in the lives of others.
